Specifications include, but are not limited to: In-ground burials • In-ground graves will be dug six (6) feet deep • Includes burials for adult, infant, and oversized burials • Move any existing monuments that may interfere with the burial • Following services, dirt will be mounded on top of the grave to prevent sinking • Any excess material afterwards will be stored at a designated location at each cemetery • Return any monuments moved during a burial to their original location In-ground cremains burials • Move any existing monuments that may interfere with the burial • Turf should be removed and preserved prior to digging. That turf should be replaced after service at ground level. • In-ground cremations will be buried to a depth that leaves two (2) feet of soil between the ground level and the top of the urn, vault, or container • Return any monuments moved during a burial to their original location Mausoleum burials • The vendor will remove the stone front and inner liner of the mausoleum • The vendor will prepare the crypt for the casket by removing any vents, inner walls, or other items in the crypt • The City will provide a casket tray for use under the casket to the vendor prior to the service and during business hours • The vendor will place the casket in the crypt • The vendor will reinstall and seal the inner liner or separator wall, if present, after the service • The vendor will reinstall the crypt front after the service
