The City of La Crosse is seeking to select an Engineering Firm, or Firms, to enter into agreement for the development of a Wellhead protection Plan. The Firm must understand and agree to the requirements listed in the City of La Crosse’s Standard Terms and Conditions. The project will include the preparation of supporting documentation and seeking and obtaining permits and approvals. Specific project requirements may include, but are not limited to, the following: · Identify and map a 5- and 10-year recharge zone for all city wells. · Develop suggested general policies to protect the city wells for possible council adoption. · Determine and map potential contamination sources. · Suggest 3 to 5 potential new well sites using the created Wellhead Protection Plan. Selection will be based on the qualifications of the firm. The City may conduct interviews and will make the final selection of the consultant per requirements and procedures
