The Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued to solicit proposals from qualified, experienced, financially sound and responsible Offerors to establish and manage a 14 bed unit for an intensive inpatient rehabilitation services at UK King’s Daughters Medical Center. The successful offeror should be responsible for the management of the day to day operations of the program. The successful offeror should agree to provide the maximum degree of support to the Medical Center in providing services and will respond to requests from King’s Daughters Medical Center promptly and responsively. The successful offeror should provide onsite program leadership, social work, IRF PAI assessment management and all therapists. The successful offeror should make recommendations on the appropriate staffing to ensure successful management of the program. The successful offeror should support the Medical Center in preparation in surveys for the Joint Commission or other similar accreditation organizations. The successful offeror should manage all payer authorizations, RIC coding and CMI management. The successful offeror should manage denials, appeals and related issues. The successful offeror should provide a functional reporting tool providing actionable insights into clinical outcomes, admission trends, market analysis, staffing and financials.
