Specifications include, but are not limited to: • We are looking for a translation company to assist us with our A View from All Sides conference. 1. The Children’s Trust is the host of the A View from All Sides conference, New England’s premier family support conference. This two-day conference brings together local experts in child abuse prevention, family support, and parent education to learn from one another and stop child abuse in Massachusetts. • We need Spanish speaking interpreters for our 2 Keynote sessions, and up to 4 virtual sessions, across our 2- day event. 1. The awarded vendor will provide virtual simultaneous translation services (English to Spanish) for one-hour keynote address on November 6, 2024, and November 7, 2024. 2. The awarded vendor will provide virtual simultaneous translation services (English to Spanish) for up to 4 virtual sessions on November 6, 2024, and November 7, 2024. a. 2 virtual sessions on Day 1, November 6, 2024 i. A Session: 11:00am-12:30pm ii. B Session: 2:00pm-3:30pm b. 2 Virtual Sessions on Day 2, November 7, 2024 i. C Session: 11:00am-12:30pm ii. D Session: 2:00pm-3:30pm 3. On both days, the vendor will deliver translation services virtually (via Zoom). 4. On both days, the vendor will be required to be present virtually at 9:00am for sound checks. For virtual sessions, interpreters are required to join 30 minutes before sessions begin. 5. Day 1 is 60 minutes (9:30am-10:30am) and Day 2 is 60 minutes (9:30am-10:30am). 6. We require the interpreters to be on from 9:00am-10:35am on Day 1, and 9:00am-10:35am on Day 2. 7. All sessions will be recorded for viewing by attendees. Vendor agrees to audio and visual recording, for training purposes only • We require to meet with the interpreter (virtually) to go over content and logistics prior to the scheduled event date. 1. Spanish speaking interpreters must have experience with live interpretation on Zoom. 2. Spanish speaking interpreters will need to interpret introductions and session content. 3. The date of the conference is November 6, 2024, and November 7, 2024 • Audience Profile: Attendees generally work in the fields of education, parenting education, early childhood, family support, and home visiting. The audience includes Administrators, School personnel, Early Childhood Professionals, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Social Workers. • The awarded vendor will demonstrate 1. Please provide evidence of past work with organizations who serve Spanish speaking clientele. 2. Experience working with non-profit, education, and/or youth serving agencies a plus. 3. Provide three professional references or testimonials.
