Specifications include, but are not limited to: 29.3.1. Scrap metal will generally be mixed and unsorted when collected. Vendor shall utilize the contract index aligning with the most prevalent material type based upon overall volume and degree of mixing. 29.3.2. At times agencies may request recycling of specialized material types not connected to the contract indices. Vendor shall provide the name and/or number of the index used to price these special material types. 29.3.3. Unless approved by the state Recycling Administrator, Vendor shall not provide service without receipt, via email, of the recycling program service request form, completed in full by the requesting agency. 29.3.4. Vendor shall provide a container for the collection of scrap metal at no charge to the utilizing agency. 29.3.5. Vendor shall provide, upon request, a separate bin for aluminum scrap or any other scrap-related commodity the agency chooses to separate. 29.3.6. Vendor shall replace a full bin with an empty bin of equal size unless specified differently by the agency. 29.3.7. Vendor shall dispose of all material collected from state locations in compliance with all current federal, state, and environmental laws and regulations as well as all terms, conditions, and specifications of this solicitation. 29.3.8. Vendor shall establish a listSERV email dedicated to only receiving recycling program service request forms and service inquiries, and sending payment and audit reports, with the Recycling Administrator included as a recipient. All communications related to this contract shall flow through the dedicated email. 29.3.9. Vendor shall provide monthly: 29.3.10. A list of all check numbers and associated ticket numbers processed for the previous month. 29.3.11. A random sample of ticket numbers provided by the Recycling Coordinator for proof of market value on the date of processing.
