Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Install irrigation system for the softball and soccer field shown in the irrigation design. 2. 3” main service will accommodate both athletic fields. 3. Provide isolation tee for the track field (should ACM choose to irrigate track field at a later date). 4. The controller shall be Wi-Fi equipped. 5. All trenching on field surfaces should be performed with a 3” wheel / trencher, or equivalent and backfilled with sand and re-seeded. 6. Any debris dug-up from trenching / or installation activity (rocks, roots, etc.) shall be removed from project area. 7. All trenching outside the field surface (all main lines) should be performed with an excavator (or equivalent) and backfilled with soil and seeded/stabilized as soon as possible. 8. Existing underground utilities / infrastructure shall be located prior to installation activities. 9. Clean-up of any kind, and in all the work areas shall result in pre-installation conditions. 10. Records of equipment, materials, and copies of source-and-supply shall be provided as necessary during installation process. 11. Bids from vendors shall also include at completion of installation, a walk-through and full system and controller tutorial with ACM representatives, as well as one additional site visit to ACM for a follow-up, walk-through and inspection of system and controller with ACM representative at ACM’s request. 12. Vendors to include lump-sum cost of labor /installation, material costs, delivery, shipping, freight, installation, setup, clean-up, and training. 13. Project should commence in Spring ’24 (cannot interfere with intercollegiate softball prior to May 20, 2024) and complete by July 15, 2024 (to accommodate Fall ’24 intercollegiate athletics). 14. Any trade permits required (i.e. plumbing and electrical) shall be the responsibility of the contractor. 15. At completion of the project, a hard-copy-final binder will be provided by contractor containing 1) Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manual, 2) as-built drawing(s) with mark-ups and notes, and 3) warranty information. In addition, a thumb drive with PDF’s of the same information shall be provided. 16. Irrigation contractors shall have five (5) years’ experience completing similar irrigation installation projects and equipment, and bids shall include three (3) project examples of similar work.
