Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1 – Project Meetings: All meetings are to be held in-person onsite, at the National Life Building in Montpelier, Vermont, or online via Microsoft Teams or similar. Meetings will be held between the DSP, Construction Manager, and Consulting Dam Safety Engineer. Meetings will include an onsite Project Kickoff Meeting, in-office or remote planning meetings to discuss the work plan, safety plan, water control, project objectives, means, and methods, etc., pre-mobilization onsite meetings, online project update and progress meetings, and onsite safety and project meetings. For budgeting purposes, please assume up to four onsite meetings, up to four in-office meetings, and up to six online update or progress meetings. Deliverables: No defined deliverable. Representatives of the Construction Manager shall attend all meetings. Meeting minutes to be developed and distributed by the Consulting Dam Safety Engineer. Task 2 – Existing Information Review: As needed, review available information, documentation, and construction records on tunnel, penstocks, and appurtenant works compiled by the Consulting Dam Safety Engineer from the files of the DSP or available through Federal Agencies. Deliverables: No defined deliverable. Review existing information as needed to properly plan and undertake project. Task 3 – Planning Activities: The Construction Manager will develop and design a work plan, safety plan, and critical path schedule for the proposed work. This will involve collaboration between the Consulting Dam Safety Engineer, the DSP, and any subcontractors needed to perform the work. The DSP and the Consulting Dam Safety Engineer, and potentially external partners (i.e., GMP), will review the draft plans and schedule and provide comments prior to finalization. Following the completion of the critical path schedule, the DSP will provide finalized start/end dates to GMP for switch order outage as well as to other external partners.
