Specifications include, but are not limited to: UND Is seeking a contractor install a concrete pad for the Hazardous Materials Storage Facility. The construction is limited to an area within a fenced boundary on the UND Campus, and will include but is not limited to: 1. Excavation, placement of and performance of small quantities of earthwork using imported and on-site materials. 2. Forming, placing rebar; placing, finishing, and curing approximately 170 CY of concrete for an 98’-4 x 44’-4” exterior reinforced concrete thickened edge storage slab to support pre-fabricated storage units previously purchased by the Owner, including a sloped top surface and tying in place the vertical rebar dowels for construction of concrete bunker walls. 3. Forming, placing rebar; placing, finishing, and curing approximately 30 CY of reinforced concrete vertical bin walls. 4. Placing approximately 100 smooth round pavement dowels and forming, placing, and curing exterior reinforced concrete slabs on grade that abut the storage slab. 5. Industrial galvanized 6’-0” tall chain link fence with direct-driven vertical posts, (3) single leaf gates and (2) double leaf gates 6. Miscellaneous site grading and aggregate surface. 7. Refurbish Existing Pad Mount Transformer - 112.5 kVA, 12470 Primary - 208Y/120 Wye-N Secondary - Oil Cooled Installation of Refurbished Transformer and 150' of 15kV Underground Feeder: 12470 VAC Connectors/Load Break Elbows, Bore/Push 15kV Cables in 4" Conduit, and associated terminations. 8. Concrete Pad for Transformer and Feed Point. 9. (3) Below Grade Pullboxes. 10. Bore and push (2) 2" Conduits (Future Ethernet from Existing Building to Below Grade Pullboxes). 11. Bore and push (1) 2" CONDUIT (Future Ethernet to each Storage Unit from Below Grade Pullbox). 12. Equipotential Ground Loop Around Site and Bonded to Storage Units and Electrical Gear. 13. Other related and ancillary work as indicated on the plans. 14. Owner will provide all field quality control testing.
