This project is to remove existing sealant, prepare the joints and apply new sealant for approximated 14,124 LF of joints on the main concourse of the arena. Bidder is responsible for providing all materials, supplies, labor, and equipment necessary to perform and complete all aspects of the work outlined in this RFP. Bidders will view the areas during the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Field measurements must be performed by the successful Bidder prior to ordering materials. Product Specifications Alternates that meet or exceed the specifications of the specified product will be accepted. Bidder must provide spec sheets on all products being proposed. Sealant: Pecora Dynaapoxy EP-1200 Color: Limestone 039 General Information 1. Surface & Joint prep must be in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. 2. The successful Bidder shall adhere to all codes, ordinances, or other regulatory requirements covering the scope of this project. 3. The successful Bidder must obtain all necessary permits and licenses for the Work. 4. The successful Bidder must receive product from the manufacturer at its facility. Storage is not available at CHICHO, however, MECA will work with the successful Bidder to identify a temporary staging area when the project begins. 5. The successful Bidder is responsible for keeping Work areas in a safe and orderly manner. 6. The successful Bidder is responsible for cleaning Work area upon completion each day. 7. If separate installation periods are necessary, all equipment and materials must be removed from the facility in between such periods unless other arrangements are approved by MECA. 8. The successful Bidder must protect all adjacent areas not receiving Work under the project and repair any damage to these areas at their own expense. 9. The successful Bidder must provide sufficient safety and pedestrian barriers while Work is in progress. 10. MECA will provide dumpsters for the materials that are removed. The successful Bidder is responsible for moving waste to the dumpsters.
