Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Attend daily line-ups if requested 2. Provide immediate response to calls for service related to mental health incidents, in tandem with LPD call for service 3. Identify, communicate, and document various behavioral health indicators 4. Utilize trauma informed, crisis response de-escalation skills/techniques 5. Assist subject of call to express their needs and concerns 6. Provide guidance in onsite problem solving to individual and/or LPD as needed 7. Using the minimum standards set forth by statute, assist with articulating the need for emergency protective custody. 8. Onsite assistance in creating a safety plan 9. Be conduit for referral and access to community resources 10. Referrals will reflect individualized need based on on-site assessment and/or corroborating information or any collateral information gathered. 11. Provide transportation to Crisis Respite Center, when indicated 12. Follow up with all individuals within 48 hours of the initial crisis 13. As necessary, follow up with provider or family member to document circumstances/outcomes. 14. Participate in regularly scheduled staffing meetings a minimum of 80% of the time 15. Internally/LPD 16. Oversite Committee 17. Enter all calls for service- according to data requirements, into the designated case management system. 18. Provide Inservice training on Co-Responder program (current and new recruits) 19. participate in any critical incident debriefing following 20. Attend Community Conversation Convenings as scheduled 21. Coordinate with LPD staff to provide public education, upon request 22. Other duties as assigned, but within the scope of services 23. Contractor must be enrolled with Nebraska Medicaid Program and is contracted with all Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) as a provider of Crisis Treatment Service, by contract start date. 24. Must have the capacity to bill primary funding sources, including private insurance and Medicaid where applicable. 25. Contractor must hold accreditation by a nationally recognized accreditation organization (i.e., CARF, COA, TJC). 26. Contractor must continuously monitor compliance and risk management. 27. Contractor must have the capacity to register services through the State of Nebraska Centralized Data System (CDS) and Electronic Billing System (EBS). The use of an Electronic Health Record platform is preferred, by contract start date.
