Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The contractor shall provide the necessary labor, tools, supervision, equipment, insurance, material, and expertise to remove and install new guard rail at several locations at Baltimore Washing International Airport within the secured area of the airport (Ramp) and the public side. The contractor will be escorted at all times as the work is performed in the secure area (see insurance requirements). The total amount of rail will be+- 75’ with posts and buffer end treatments. B. The contractor will remove existing 3 Bay Quad Guard and install new 3 Bay 36” Quad Guard system or equal on the public side of Baltimore Washing International Airport on the upper-level outbound roadway. The Administration will provide Maintenance of Traffic for the work being performed. C. The contractor will install twenty-five (25) foot panel, 2 Turkey Tails, five (5) 2” bolts with nuts, one (1) tube post 6” x 6” x 3/16” (Tubing is 3/16” thick). Maryland Aviation Administration will remove existing burnt off post, location is E-1 Tunnel – East side. D. Remove twenty-five (25) foot panel, 2 turkey tails. Install twenty-five (25) foot panel, 2 turkey tails, location is E-1 Tunnel – West side. E. Remove and dispose of 53 Linear feet of traffic barrier W-beam with single buffer end treatments at the ends. Install on W 6 x 15 base plated posts. Use concrete anchors to anchor posts, location is Delta -1 Baggage Area. F. The contractor and the administration will schedule the dates and times for when the work is to be accomplished.
