Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District is seeking Materials specified in the RFP Documents from qualified and experienced publishing firms (“Firm” or “Firms”) that can provide alternate curriculum textbooks, teacher’s manuals, digital materials, professional development opportunities, and associated resource materials (“Materials”). The proposals and the Materials submitted will be evaluated by the District’s evaluation committee. The evaluation committee will choose the firm or firms whose Materials will be field tested. Following field testing, the evaluation committee will make a recommendation to the Board of Education regarding which Firm or Firms should provide the Materials for these programs. The Board will make the final decision as to which Firm or Firms, if any, will supply Materials. Multiple Firms may be awarded contracts for some or all of the Materials. Once a satisfactory contract is negotiated by the District and each of the selected Firm or Firms, the contract or contracts will be presented to the Board of Education for approval.
