Specifications include, but are not limited to: Proposals via PlanetBids will be received by the City of Reno until 2:00 P.M. Local Time on THURSDAY, MAY 30, 2024, for CONTRACT NUMBER I400139. Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include: Rehabilitation of approximately 30,368 linear feet of sanitary sewer piping ranging in size from 8-inch to 12-inch located at various locations throughout the City of Reno and all miscellaneous and incidental work necessary to complete the project as specified. The scope of work shall be completed primarily by utilizing pipe rehabilitation using Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) methods. The work also shall include rehabilitation of concrete structures, removal and repair of pipes, installation of new manholes, bypass pumping, traffic control, and public relations activities to facilitate pipeline rehabilitation and other miscellaneous incidental work necessary to complete the project as specified. The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165 setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.
