Specifications include, but are not limited to: he goal is to simplify and clarify the development regulations while protecting the City’s unique aesthetics, character, and charm. The consultant will work closely with Planning staff and key stakeholders, including the public, to identify issues in the Zoning Code and to propose draft language and programs to address such issues. The local community has indicated that there is a need to reform the development review process, reducing the amount of time it takes to review projects in the Planning Division, and to narrow the scope of items that require Design Review. The City is interested in hearing suggestions for simplifying the process and procedures in the code with an emphasis on Chapter 25.05 (Administration).
