Specifications include, but are not limited to: Temple Independent School District seeks to award the proposal to one proposer who can provide all lines of coverage in a package format with one company. Each proposal should include the five (5) benefits listed below: 1. Student (Voluntary Accident) coverage for grades pre-kindergarten through 12 with a quote for 24 hour coverage and school-time only coverage. Voluntary dental plans and voluntary football coverage should also be offered as part of the bid submission. The plans should include zero balance billing to parents/students. 2. Student Athletic/UIL coverage for students in grades 7 through 12 for all District sponsored and/or supervised events; including but not limited to athletic activities, tryouts, practices, UIL competitions, vocational classes, ROTC. Coverage should include travel to and from any covered event as well as any required overnight stays. Zero balance billing to parents/students. 3. Catastrophic Insurance Coverage and Additional Death and Disability Benefits for interscholastic sports; including but not limited to football, band, cheerleaders, majorettes, drill team, dance team, pep squad, intramuralsports, gym classes and non-sport extracurricular UIL activities. The plan should include zero balance billing to parents/students. 4. Special Risk coverage for Special Olympics and Special Education 5. Sports Leagues and Camps Coverage sponsored by and conducted on Temple ISD campuses.
