Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, and traffic control necessary to remove current pavement markings and apply in-laid pavement markings per contract information. The Contractor is required to use 3M Stamark Tape High Performance Tape Series 380I ES for symbols/legends and high durable epoxy paint will be required on all stop bars and crosswalks. There will be 4,088 square feet of durable white epoxy paint. This project has previously been milled and will require new milling for the in-laid tape and epoxy paint to the depths of 125 +/- 10 mills. The Contractor is required to install tape to the manufacturer’s specifications. There will be an estimated 9,112 square feet of white tape. Removal of the current pavement markings, cleaning of the roadway surface, preparation of the roadway surface and application of the preformed plastic tape pavement markings will be in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and in accordance to MUTCD.
