Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Kentucky Horse Park is seeking a Master Agreement for fencing including new fencing as well as the repair and painting of existing fencing. The Contractor will provide fencing and painting for approximately 36 miles of fence lines in and around the Kentucky Horse Park; however, not every fence section/panel will need serviced each year. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary for the installation of new or repair/replacement, along with painting of fencing at the Kentucky Horse Park, located at 4089 Iron Works Parkway, Lexington, Kentucky, 40511. Contractor to invoice KHP monthly after the work has been completed. The Kentucky Horse Park (KHP) has approximately 36 miles of fencing in and around the park. There are both sections that need to be repaired/replaced with new plank boards and/or posts as well as areas we wish to install and paint a new fence line. In addition to repairing/replacing/painting damaged fence/post sections, the remaining sections in a ring are to be scraped and painted so as to provide a uniform appearance. All fencing will be inspected on an annual basis and the KHP Maintenance Director or a member of the Maintenance Division will mark which boards/panels/posts that are to be repaired/replaced/painted. Contractor will scrape/repaint any panels that are in the same ring/system as the repaired panels. The contractor will be responsible for removing damaged/rotten fence plank boards and replacing with 16’ boards (1”x6” rough cut). All boards must be rough sawn White Oak free of any visible defects. Any 16’ section that has new boards will be painted in its entirety. For any damaged/rotten post, contractor with replace and paint. All posts must be 6” treated Southern Yellow Pine (faced) and installed utilizing a post driver. The paint must be Fence Pro® Black, 100% Acrylic Latex for any black fencing and Enamel Pro® White, 100% Acrylic Semi-Gloss Fence and Barn Paint for any white fencing (listed per commodity line). All generated scraps/waste must be collected and disposed of by the contractor.
