Specifications include, but are not limited to: 27.1. Vendor shall supply all labor, tools, transportation, materials, equipment and permits as necessary and required to perform services as described herein. 27.2. The Vendor shall provide hazardous pharmaceutical waste disposal services for the State, which includes, but is not limited to: Page 9 of 21 Bidder Initials_______ Date___________ 27.3. Transferring and disposing both hazardous and non-Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) pharmaceutical waste, which includes but is not limited to: 27.4. Physically going to all unit medication rooms (up to 15 minimum) to pick up pharmaceutical waste once (1) a month, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. 27.5. Provide agency approved replacement containers prior to the removal of any hazardous waste containers, which shall be: 27.6. Disposable and reusable containers 27.7. Color-coded and labeled per requisite regulatory compliance for user-friendly disposal procedures and processes. 27.8. Providing waste profiles, supplies, and safety data sheets. 27.9. Pharmaceutical Waste Compliance Staff Training and Education, which includes, but is not limited to: 27.10. Experts who shall provide extensive training throughout all locations as required by the EPA (40 CFR § 265.16), the DOT (49 § 172.702 and § 172.704), and the NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) Hazardous Waste Rules (Env-HW 100-1200) to ensure adherence to pharmaceutical waste disposal compliance regulations. The Vendor shall: 27.10.1. Provide training that focusses on: 27.10.2. Correct collection of pharmaceutical waste. 27.10.3. Reduction of the overall waste volume. 27.10.4. Reduction of total expenditures
