Specifications include, but are not limited to: Construct a connection between the existing chilled water loop on the southeast corner of The Quad to the new pedestrian bridge over 9th Street and a data connection from Davidson Mathematics & Science Center and Gateway Parking Complex. Special Considerations: The contractor shall anticipate work stoppages for Homecoming and University sesquicentennial events in October 2024. Pack Picnics events in summer 2024 may require removal of construction equipment in/near The Quad. Chilled water utility interruptions shall consider forecasted temperatures and be approved by the owner. Activities that generate excessive noise and/or vibration may be required to occur outside of normal business hours. Existing underground utilities to be located and verified. Any impact or closure to campus access road to be coordinated with UNR construction manager, Parking Services and Campus Police. Chilled water connections will affect campus chilled water loop and need to be coordinated with UNR construction manager and HVAC maintenance. Minimize duration of chilled water loop shutdown. Fiber data connections to be coordinated with UNR Office of Information Technology (OIT).
