Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Department of Buildings and General Services (hereinafter the “State”) is seeking to establish a contract with a Construction Management firm to provide Construction Management services (hereinafter the “CM”) for the Restoration of the Vermont Building at the Eastern States Exposition on the Avenue of States at 1305 Memorial Avenue in West Springfield, Massachusetts. 1.2. The primary objective of this project is the exterior building restoration. The scope includes clock tower and cupola restoration, slate and copper roof replacement, wood trim restoration, window replacement and restoration, and exterior lighting. The goal of the project is to provide a durable and well-maintained exterior.
