Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Corrections seeks a qualified organization to provide basic funeral services for unclaimed decedents as needed by the Commonwealth: Specifications are as follows: 1. The Offeror to have and maintain all certifications and licensure to provide basic funeral services as required by law or regulation, including but not limited to KRS 316.030 and KRS 316.125; 2. Offeror to secure copies of death certificates of each decedent. 3. The Offeror to coordinate burial plans with the Kentucky State Reformatory Chaplain or designee; 4. The Offeror to transfer decedent remains to the Offeror’s funeral home. Offeror pickup location will be from a local hospital or Department of Corrections facility within 250 miles of Kentucky State Reformatory; 5. Offeror to provide hearse for transfer of decedent remains;
