Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project area is on Stony Brook Road at the Buck Fever Camp. The project consists of the removal of the existing damaged culvert and replacing it with a new aluminum box culvert that is 10’6’’ long by 5’7’’ high by 40’6’’ wide and buried 1’6’’. Cleaning shoulder/ditches; (finished ditches should be 3’ wide by 2’ deep), seed and mulching/hydroseed ditches and all areas that are not stone lined and that have soil that has been disturbed and graveling the road surface and installation of guardrails. Remove wood debris, trees and stumps from the site and dispose of it. The contractor is responsible for all materials needed for the project except for the new box culvert. The Town of Stockbridge will purchase and supply the box culvert from Contech, the contractor is responsible for the structure's assembly. The structure will be picked up from the Town Garage by the contractor unless the timing of the delivery allows for other means of it being unloaded by the contractor. The contractor will follow all of Contech’s plans/designs for the site prep, assembly and back filling of the structure per the attached drawings from Contech. The wing wall angle will be set as agreed on by the town road foreman in the field at the time of construction. The road may be closed to traffic for up to 14 days.
