Specifications include, but are not limited to: Construction Materials (gravel, crushed gravel, reclaimed bituminous pavement base, crushed stone, winter sand, rip rap, loam) 1. Gravel shall meet the material of Section 304.2 of the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, New Hampshire Department of Transportation, latest addition, hereafter noted as the Standard Specifications. 2. Crushed gravel shall meet the material requirements of sections 304.3 of the Standard Specifications. 3. Crushed aggregate for shoulders shall meet the material requirements of section 304.33 of the Standard Specifications 4. Reclaimed bituminous pavement base - The material shall consist of a reclaimed pavement blend with crushed gravel with overall material gradation conforming to the crushed gravel requirement of Section 304.3 of the Standard Specifications. 5. Crushed stone (1 1/2") shall be clean, having hard, strong durable particles free from soft & organic material. 6. Crushed stone (3/4") shall be clean, having hard strong durable particles free from soft & organic material.
