Specifications include, but are not limited to: 24.1. NHDOT Safety Vest Specifications 24.2. Class 2 - STANDARD STYLE Safety Vest Specification 24.2.1. All materials and physical properties used in the construction of the vest shall meet the requirements of ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Type R, Performance Class 2 Standard Style safety vest. 24.3. COLOR: 24.3.1. Fluorescent Orange 24.4.BINDING: 24.4.1. Color may vary, black or orange is preferred. 24.5. SIZING: 24.5.1. Single sizing only (no multi-sizing) 24.6.FABRIC: 24.6.1. Mesh fabric 24.7.FRONT CLOSURE: 24.7.1. Front closure shall be a zipper 24.8.LOGO: 24.8.1. NHDOT Logo across the back between the shoulders 24.9.POCKETS AND MICROPHONE TABS: 24.9.1. Not required but accepted 24.10. REFLECTIVE BANDS: 24.10.1.Retroreflective fluorescent yellow band, a minimum 3.5” to 4” wide, with a 2” wide retroreflective material centered and affixed to the band. 24.11. COMPLIANCE, CERTIFICATION, AND LABELING: 24.11.1.Compliance testing reports for background materials, combined-performance materials, and retroreflective materials shall be submitted for approval with bid documents. A completed ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Type R Apparel and Headwear Compliance Certificate shall be included with each shipment. Each vest shall include either a tag or label stamped inside the back neck area in black ink stating care of the garment and ANSI compliance of the vest.
