Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All tires and tubes must meet the “Kentucky Minimum Specifications for School Buses, as required by KRS 156.153 and include the manufacturer’s standard warranty. 2. The successful bidder guarantees to make standard adjustments of defective products within the bid price. Any adjustments shall extend for six months from the date of final delivery or expiration of the contract. 3. Tires and tubes shall be delivered to Henderson County Board of Education Transportation Garage. Bid price shall include transportation and delivery F. O. B. on loading dock. From time to time, Board personnel may pick up items at the vendor’s supply house. 4. Tires supplied on all Kentucky school bus chassis shall be first-line, steel belted, low profile and tubeless with DOT approved type tread and furnished as original equipment as shown in the chassis supplier’s most recent data book and specifications literature on file with the Division of Pupil Transportation – KDE.
