Specifications include, but are not limited to: Training, technical and administrative support. Support day to day operations, functions and activities of the operational and management staff of the County, in the use, analysis, and maintenance of patient accounts, to include billing for services to the patient, responsible party, automotive insurance carrier and insurance provider. Provide new solutions that meet all requirements of Medicare, Medicaid, CHAMPUS, other governmental insurance programs such as the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and commercial insurance companies, collectively referred to as Insurance Providers. Retrieve or receive necessary patient care reports to be billed utilizing our system wide Fire Records Management System within 30 days following the execution of the resulting contract. Accept NEMSIS (National EMS Information System) EMS exports (XML format) to the billing system.
