Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work, officially known as “Flow Splitter Improvements at the Nine Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant,” consists of the rehabilitation of the flow splitter structure that splits flow between the East and West Plants at the Nine Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work also includes construction of a permanent bypass channel around the existing flow splitter structure, installation of new sluice gates, and replacement of the existing concrete troughs and weirs with fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) troughs and weirs. The work also includes site work improvements, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation and controls, and other ancillary work required to accomplish the modifications.
