Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor shall provide On-call Dock Assembly, Installation, and Repair Contractor Services for the Engineering Division of the State of Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks (KDWP) on an as needed basis and for specific projects as they arise. The purpose of this solicitation is to award multiple contracts to a pool of vendors to perform services listed in specifications below. Projects will be bid out to the awarded contractors. Those bids will be on a Lump Sum (per project basis), or on an Itemized schedule of bid items basis, within each geographic service area(s) shown (see attached map for list of all service areas). See Section 21 for qualification and experience criteria. 2. All work constructed under this Contract shall be in accordance dock and marina assembly, installation, and repair best practices, and as applicable, KDOT general specifications and practices, IBC, IFC, IFGC, IPC, IMC, NEC and 2010 ADA Standards unless specified on individual project documents. The contractor shall be familiar with these codes and their requirements. Any code interpretation questions shall be directed toward the contract user. 3. All projects shall follow the Project Conditions as noted in section five which follows. 4. The value of the projects contracted under this agreement will typically be under $100,000.00 dollars and over $1,000.00 dollars. The maximum value of contracts allowed under this contract shall be $250,000. All projects required under this contract will be executed under the general project conditions in section five which follows. 5. An agency (contract user) may work with a single contractor, at their discretion, for projects/services expected to cost $25,000 or less without any additional competition. For these projects, the contractor shall invoice the agency for work performed based on rates provided in the bidder’s proposal or a Lump sum bid based on provided rate sheets or specified schedule of bid values at the agency’s option.
