Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Project Feasibility - Analyze entire project scope and identify variables in design/engineering/construction disciplines to maximize efficiencies. • Risk Assessment/Management – Identify and address risks such as industry volatility issues, labor issues, materials availability, delivery delays to mitigate impacts. • Materials and Constructability – Provide cost-effective recommendations on design and material options that enhance the value of the project and maximize project scope • Establish a realistic budget – Ensure all costs are accounted for and managed throughout the project life. • Optimize Project Timing - Identify the optimum time to initiate a project for budgeting, procurement, and resource availability. • Protect the County’s interests from design to project completion. • Project Delivery - review recommendations and participate in project procurement following the laws of the Montana Procurement Act.
