Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide, install, start up and test for proper operation, a new Eaton 93E series Three Phase Online Tower UPS rated at 20kVA/16kW, 208V in/out, 50/60Hz in out, single feed with internal batteries for 21 minutes at full load. Contractor shall also supply and install a new Eaton 93E series External Battery Cabinet, 20/30kVA with 2 strings/36 batteries rated at 55 minutes of runtime at full load. External battery cabinet shall connected to the new UPS unit. Contractor may propose an alternate brand of equipment that is equivalent to or exceeds the standards, specifications and quality of the specified Eaton units, however it shall be the contractor’s responsibility to demonstrate how any proposed alternates meet or exceed these qualifications. The following shall be include in the scope of work The UPS unit is located in a Jail environment and powers equipment that is critical to the operation of the County Jail. Awarded contractor shall provide and coordinate all trades needed including an electrician for a timely and efficient change from the existing UPS to the new UPS unit. To accommodate critical jail operations and schedules, the old UPS shall be powered down at 6:30 am on the scheduled date. The new UPS shall then be set in place with the internal bypass on the new unit being wired and providing power to the jail by 7:30 am on the same date. Once the internal bypass in wired and feeding power the contractor can have the rest of the morning or day as required to set up, program and test the new UPS unit, however the new UPS shall be fully online by the end of the same business day
