Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Contractor and County recognize that the Park is a public park and that public use of the Premises is mutually desirable. Contractor shall provide for use of the Premises by noncustomers of Contractor. The Premises and its surroundings shall remain open and available to the public on a daily basis. It is understood that the general public is not permitted to carry in personal alcoholic beverages as stated in County Ordinance 10.07(7). • Rentals must be open daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. (Extensions can be considered if requested by Contractor) with minimum hours of 8am – 6pm and maximum of 8am – 10pm. • Contractor shall only operate within designated premises. • Customers must be able to operate this amenity and take advantage of its resources on a selfserve basis. • Percentage of gross sales will be shared with Kenosha County. Shared revenue shall be negotiated in good faith between parties. • Amenity upgrades shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. Any structural upgrades to the amenity shall remain the ownership of Kenosha County. Upgrades greater than $500 shall have prior written authorization from the Director of Parks. • Contractor is responsible for the installation of any infrastructure required to meet the needs of this RFP. • Contractor is responsible for supplying all Kayak and Paddleboards being made available for rent along with life jackets, and maintaining these resources. • Contractor is responsible for all marketing and advertising to promote its activities. Kenosha County shall make reasonable efforts to aid and support the Contractor’s marketing and advertising efforts. Contractor shall acknowledge the Parks Division and include the Parks logo in all promotional materials, whether print or digital, directly related to its activities covered under this Agreement. All proposed banners, signage and advertising on or within the Premises, including if placed on temporary or portable structures, must be pre-approved in writing by the Parks Director. • On a monthly basis, Contractor shall compile and provide County with a detailed summary report of all sales activities and a financial reconciliation of all commissions owed and paid...
