Specifications include, but are not limited to: Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District is led by an Executive Director, who reports to the District’s Commission. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management and operation of the District to satisfy regulatory and statutory requirements and organize the governance to set and implement Commission established policies and priorities. The Executive Director executes the District’s vision, sets goals, and creates administrative guidelines through direct reports. The Executive Director engages with the leadership of owner communities, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and communicate the work of the District. The District has approximately 130 employees, and the Executive Director has two direct reports: the Deputy Executive Director and District Principal Engineer. The most recent Executive Director has retired, and the Commission is seeking assistance and support in finding a qualified replacement by the end of 2024.
