Specifications include, but are not limited to: Automobile repair and maintenance services. Tractor and construction equipment (including dump trucks, loaders, excavators, UTVs, Backhoes, repair, and maintenance. Autobody repair services. Rust repair services. This includes parts and labor for related services. Automotive Mechanical Services: Services shall be required for non-warranty alignment, transmission, and electrical/diagnostic work. Contractor may perform state of Maine inspection services, change oil and oil filters, rotate and balance tires, repair or replace brakes and/or brake parts, replace rotors and/or drums, rebuild wheel cylinders, flush brake fluid, perform exhaust work and engine work, replace fuel filters and air filters, flush radiators, provide air conditioning service and tune ups, and replace belts, intake manifold gaskets, batteries, alternators, shocks, switches, fuses, and any other related services. Emergency services shall be required on an occasional basis. Experience: Contractor’s employees providing service must possess previous experience performing automotive mechanical work, with five (5) years of experience preferred. Certification: Automotive Service Excellence Certified Master Mechanic (ASE) strongly preferred. Contractor must be capable of providing the necessary technical personnel from its own work force to respond to services requests. Indicate in the response the number of employees in the Contractor’s own workforce.
