Specifications include, but are not limited to: conduct a fullservice auction(s) for the University of Kentucky. All auctioneers should be licensed with the Kentucky Board of Auctioneers. The auction(s) will be open to the public and not restrictive in any manner. The Auctioneer will make every reasonable and prudent effort to maximize the value of the property being sold. The Auctioneer firm will provide all services to run an inside or outside auction in any type of weather. The Auctioneer firm should be able to be heard by a large group of people, over outside noises and auctioneer(s) be understood. The firm should have enough staff to take care of all checking in and checking out of buyers in a timely fashion. The firm shall provide a signed and approved readable report showing all sales results. The minimum information to be provided is a description of equipment/material, selling price, university lot number and buyer’s number with a cross list of buyer name and contact. This report will be due one (1) week from auction date to the university representative with the final payment. The auctioneer shall have full responsibility for collection of all money received from the sale, including the certification of payment of Kentucky State sales tax and/or exemptions of Kentucky State sales tax. All payments shall be made by Credit Card or Cash. All items are to be sold AS IS and WHERE IS. There are no warranties, expressed or implied including, but not limited to, warranty for fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability. Sales are to F.O.B. Place of Sale. The University will be responsible for all transfers of Motor Vehicle. Once we have proof the vehicle has been paid for. The University would prefer a list of all sold vehicles with buyers’ information at the end of the auctions so the University can work on transfers. The Auctioneer firm shall provide at least one portal potty site and may provide food for sales meeting all state guidelines for food service at auction.
