Specifications include, but are not limited to: Development Parameters - The City of Osawatomie hereby requests proposals from qualified and experienced housing developers interested in developing community housing on newly platted properties (See Attachment A of this RFP). The city is seeking housing developers capable of purchasing city-owned land and developing high quality community housing and demonstrate an understanding of the Osawatomie community, its housing needs, and the unique attributes and opportunities of the Osawatomie area. Developers should provide evidence of successful experience in developing and managing community housing projects and an ability to utilize existing tools (Reinvestment Housing Incentive Districts, special assessment bonds, etc.) to build the required infrastructure.
