Initial Scope of Work Necessary to Use 9 Riverside Functionally: • First and foremost the building needs to achieve CALEA accreditation and will need to have certain security upgrades to the site: o CCTV Cameras, Reinforce Doors, Reinforce Windows, Key Card Access (This would be an entirely new system) o Fence: Need to replace existing fence around perimeter of property and incorporate 9 Riverside into Police area - add 2 automated gate systems • Remove City IT infrastructure from within 9 Riverside and to a location on premises, but not within a Police secured area • Parking lot connection – need to connect the two parking lots together and make required site plan improvements (the connection needs to accommodate specialty law enforcement vehicles and not just passenger vehicles • Carport if budget allows – create a space to remove specialized vehicles out of the weather to increase their useful life • Of immediate concern is the ensuring the building is CALEA accredited, which will also necessitate some minor interior renovations.
