Specifications include, but are not limited to: Louisville Metro Government (LMG) is soliciting the Louisville Electric Vehicle (EV) Readiness Plan for local government staff, local stakeholders, and residents to better understand emerging transportation technology and encourage the EV transition as a means to support clean air, a healthier community, economic development, and tourism. The scope of services is divided into two sections. The first is focused on LMG-owned assets, including planning for the transition of the LMG fleet to electric/zero emission vehicles, including light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles as feasible, as well as leveraging LMG facilities and sites for charging infrastructure. The second portion of the scope is focused on the community transition to EVs, and how LMG can support greater adoption of EV technology through policy, programs, and partnerships. The goal of these complementary sections is to determine how LMG can use all its various tools and assets to support the transition to zero emission vehicles.
