Specifications include, but are not limited to: Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the Carson City Quill Water Treatment Plant Rehabilitation Project – a Federally Funded Project. The project will consist of various aboveground and below ground improvements to the existing facilities at the Quill Water Treatment facility. The purpose of the project is to replace aging and obsolete water treatment equipment that will then allow this facility to treat up to 4 million gallons of surface water per day while meeting the required regulatory requirements. Work includes selective demolition, treatment building expansion, concrete foundations and slab on grade, mechanical equipment and ductwork, treatment plant equipment installation, controls, telecom and security systems, site work, utility relocation, asphalt concrete paving, rigid concrete paving, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents and Plans. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications and special conditions related hereto.
