Specifications include, but are not limited to: Dane County desires to contract with a single highly qualified firm for the provision of on call services in order to facilitate the prompt, efficient delivery of services related to the operation of the Dane County Regional Airport. The successful proposer should have the ability to perform the majority, if not all, of the services in house. These services will involve planning, environmental issues, engineering, architecture and design, air service development, and Information Technology and electronic services. The successful proposer shall be capable of acquiring professional expertise when it is not available as part of the menu of engineering services offered. The projects will vary in size, however, most of the task orders will be small in scope and of short duration. Each task order shall have the scope defined by the Airport and the fee shall be negotiated based on the Contractor’s cost proposal. The Fee may be a fixed fee or based on time and materials, as determined by the Airport. Generally, services would be needed to supplement a design effort that is underway and would be minor in nature (i.e. rental car contract review, airport tenant business performance and parking facilities planning). The Airport will issue separate RFPs for work involving large capital projects or major consulting projects. Any specialized services requiring the use of a sub-contractor will require the Airport’s approval in advance.
