Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Superior (City) is seeking Statements of Interest (SOI) from qualified solid waste management companies interested in managing and properly disposing of the City’s solid waste after the pending closure of the City’s Moccasin Mike landfill in 2026/27. The City anticipates potential construction and/or operation of a solid waste transfer station within or near the City of Superior, with waste being transported to an offsite permitted waste disposal facility. Based on the responses to this ROI, the City may or may not move forward with an RFP/RFQ process related to this potential project. Responses to this SOI will help inform the details and structure of the RFP/RFQ.
