Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Services shall be provided annually. Preferably in April. City of Yuma Representative and vendor will arrange for the designated day(s) for the onsite testing. B. Visually inspect the exterior to ensure all lights are operating. C. No leaking fluids etc., during the test. D. Test Site – Test Site from Draft. E. Test Site – Test Site from Hydrant. F. Environmental Conditions. G. Equipment. H. Flow-Measuring. I. Pressure-Measuring Equipment. J. Test Gauge Calibration. K. Engine Speed Measuring Equipment. L. Carbon Monoxide Monitoring. M. Engine Speed Check. N. Priming System Test. O. Vacuum Test. P. Pumping Test for Fire Pumps. Q. Overload Test. R. Pumping Test for Industrial Supply Pumps. S. Pressure Control Test for Fire Pumps. T. Pressure Control Test for Industrial Supply Pumps. U. Intake Relief Valve System Test. V. Gauge Test. W. Flowmeter Test. X. Tank-to-Pump Flow Rate. Y. Flow Measuring Points for Flowmeters. Z. Test Results. AA. A written report will be provided for each unit at the time of the tests. Reports will be sent electronically to a City Representative unless a hard copy is asked for. BB. Water source will be available at the testing site (hydrant). CC. The person performing the Fire Pump Testing/Inspection (On-Site) work must be certified.
