Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids to remove the existing transmission main and supply and install a total of 7,830 lineal feet of new ductile iron main and 80 linear feet of sliplining with 42-inch OD steel pipe along various streets in Old Louisville. The referenced project includes the installation of approximately 7,737 lineal feet of 48-inch ductile iron main, 80 lineal feet sliplining with 42-inch OD steel pipe, 18 lineal feet of 36-inch ductile iron pipe, and 75 lineal feet of 24-inch ductile iron pipe. This project also includes distribution and transmission main reconnections, and installation of water main appurtenances, including gate valves, manway access vaults, combination air vacuum valves, and drain assemblies. Also included is transferring services from a distribution main to be abandoned to an existing parallel distribution main. Contractor shall supply and install all materials required for the completion of this project. Contractor shall perform all paving associated with this project. This project will be wholly or partially funded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund.
