Specifications include, but are not limited to: Replacement of two overhead mounted oil-fired furnances with two 20 ton rooftop Heat Pump units with electric heat in Rockland, Maine. Four mini-split heat pumps will be added to the office spaces and adjoining parts room. ALTERNATE BID 1: This alternate includes replacement of the existing oil fired furnaces with equivalent capacity oil fired furnaces. The new oil fired furnaces must be installed on the existing platform. The oil system including pumps and controls must remain in place and piping extended to connect to new furnaces. The existing platform must be modified as described to meet current codes and standards. No new mechanical equipment will be installed on the roof as part of this alternate.
