Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) The fence shall conform to Ameristar Aegis II Majestic design, 3-Rail style manufactured by Ameristar Fence Products, Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma or approved equal in the color black. b) Steel material for fence framework with the requirements of ASTM A653/A653M, with a minimum yield strength of 45,000 psi. The steel shall be hot-dip galvanized to meet the requirements of ASTM A653/A653M with a minimum zinc coating weight of 0.09 oz/ft2 , Coating Description G-90. c) Material for pickets shall be 1” square by 14 Ga. tubing. The cross-sectional shape of the rails shall be double wall design with outside cross-section dimensions of 1.75” square and a minimum thickness of 14 Ga. picket holes in the rail shall be spaced 4.715” on center. Picket retaining rods shall be 0.125” diameter galvanized steel. High-quality PVC grommets shall be supplied to seal all picket-to-rail intersections. Fence posts shall be 2.5” square by 12 Ga. tubing at a height of 48”. d) When cutting/drilling rails or posts: remove all metal shavings from the cut area, apply zinc-rich primer to thoroughly cover cut edge and/or drilled hole, and apply 2 coats of custom finish paint matching the fence color.
