1. Prepare and deliver meals that fulfill the requirements. 2. Meals can be delivered by the vendor or picked up at the vendor’s location. Your bid may be entirely in bulk to the dining sites or a combination of bulk food and individually packaged meals for Home Delivered Clients. Please consider the following as you submit your proposal: a. Bulk Food: Must be in packaged bulk pans that are securely sealed. i. If the bulk meals will be transported to the site by the vendor, they must be placed inside equipment that will retain the temperature of the food above 140 degrees and below 41 degrees Fahrenheit. b. Individually Packaged: i. If you are bidding to package the meals individually for home delivered meal they must be placed in clean containers (Oliver System, Reusable containers, or aluminum containers with lids.) ii. The meals must then be transported in equipment that will maintain the temperature of the food above 140 degrees and below 41 degrees Fahrenheit. 3. Vendors will have a cooperative working relationship with the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Vernon County.
