Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Provide new RTUs to match existing RTU sizing for heating and cooling • Carrier, York or Lennox brands are acceptable. Any other equipment shall be submitted for approval by the City of Omaha by written request in the “Questions” tab of the bid prior to 2:00 p.m. on June 13, 2024 (the deadline for questions on this solicitation). • Shop drawings must be submitted for approval and approved before any equipment purchase • Scope of work includes the demolition and removal of existing RTUs (15-ton 460V/ 3 phase) • Provide installation of new RTUs complete • Provide integral RA Smoke Shutdown • Provide electrical disconnect for each RTU, attached to the unit • Provide economizers on RTUs • Provide hinged access doors • Reconnect high voltage electrical to new unit (Additional wire required shall be copper conductor without exception) • Provide new Gas regulator at each RTU • Reconnect existing gas piping to new units • Re-pipe gas outside of existing curb • If required, provide and install new curb adapter (existing curb may be used if it is configured correctly) • Provide rigging and hoisting, and safety equipment as required for removal and Installation of RTUs • The City of Omaha will coordinate street closure for crane work • Provide and install new thermostat for RTUs • Work can be performed during normal business hours • Provide and install 2” thick return filters and frames • Provide two (2) year warranty on all parts and labor • Any and all roofing repairs needed for this work will be completed by the contractor
