Specifications include, but are not limited to: The AOC Department of Specialty Courts oversees treatment court programs throughout the Commonwealth, including drug courts, mental health courts, and veteran s treatment courts. Collectively referred to as Specialty Court programs, these programs are similarly structured and supervised and have the same goal to give eligible participants the opportunity to make positive changes in their lives. The services provided by these programs include oversight by a judge, case management, treatment, and drug testing. Specialty Court programs are provided by the AOC. The AOC contracts and pays for any treatment, drug testing and case management services not otherwise covered by Medicaid and/or grant funds, and no fees are charged to defendants to participate in the program
