Provide staff, including licensed Structural Engineer for the City of Frankfort. Perform professional structural engineering inspections, evaluations, engineering calculations, and reviews of specifications and construction documents. Perform independent third-party structural engineering peer reviews of designs, buildings, facilities, structures. Evaluate structures and provide structural design and/or construction services for construction, repair, and replacement of structures. Provide in-house personnel or sub-consultants for structural engineering matters. Provide the full range of professional structural engineering services including conducting preliminary studies, overseeing structural testing, providing preliminary designs, developing final PS&E. Review construction bids. During construction, perform periodic on-site visits of work to determine status, quality, integrity, timeliness and compliancy of performed work; review material submittals, shop submittal drawings and test results; respond to RFIs; draft change orders; and review pay estimates. Other, similar, services related to professional structural engineering aspects of city infrastructure projects, buildings, or facilities and programs.
