Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Vendor shall be a reseller and shall provide all brands listed on the Bid Price Sheet. (Attachment B). Additional brands may be added upon award of the contract. B. New 2volt battery plant installs shall include new battery racks / shelving as required and recommended by the manufacturer. New 12volt battery plant installs shall require new racks / shelving with a separate breaker per shelf and installed as per manufacturer recommendation. C. Vendor shall be responsible for the removal and decommission of old equipment and systems. Scope will be based on individual site and equipment. Pricing must be outlined separately on the Scope of Work (SOW)/Quote, or a separate Scope of Work (SOW)/Quote can be created. D. Vendor shall be responsible for the installation of new equipment and systems as well as maintenance. E. Battery testing shall include: 1. IEEE450 Standards for Vented Lead Acid Batteries 2. IEEE1188 Standards for Valve Regulated Lead Acid Batteries 3. IEEE1106 Standards for Nickel-Cadmium Batteries; A. Vendor shall provide all incidental parts and materials, including, but not limited to, screws, washers, cable ties, fire block, nuts, bolts, acid refills, etc., to successfully complete installations. When circumstances warrant, the vendor may be required to install equipment, which include, but is not limited to, UPS equipment in conjunction with a battery installation. Configuration/assembly of equipment shall be completed prior to installation. In the event of an emergency, the Commonwealth may require the vendor to provide all materials for the installation. B. All supplies, batteries and equipment shall be subject to inspection or tests by requesting agency prior to acceptance. In the event supplies or equipment are defective in material or workmanship or otherwise not in conformity with specified requirements, the Commonwealth shall have the right to reject them or require acceptable correction at the vendor's expense. C. All parts, materials, and services provided by the vendor shall have a warranty for a minimum period of twelve (12) months at no additional cost to the Commonwealth.
