Specifications include, but are not limited to: The design consultant’s scope of work may include, but is not limited to, the following: ● Coordinate with any local stakeholders in the design process to gather any required clearances ● Prepare project plans and technical specifications that are concise, clear, and require only the information necessary for the contractor to construct the project. The consultant shall provide applicable items (plans, special provisions, quantities, and a construction cost estimate) and coordinate with Contracts and Specifications. ● The consultant shall hold progress meetings, as necessary, to ensure the project is on schedule and the team is resolving project issues. The consultant shall take proactive measures that will mitigate risks and corrective action(s) should slippage of the schedule occur. Document retention, project schedule and risk register, and submittal uploads, and updates in the Workfront platform are required. ● Survey base mapping for design shall be performed by the consultant. ● Gather required information for utility and railroad, ROW, and environmental clearances ● Design submittals for the project is expected for Stage II (parametric estimate), Stage III, Stage IV, and PS& E
